INTRODUCTION

Product is a key element in the market offering. Marketing mix planning begins with formulating an offering to meet target customer’s needs or wants. The customer will judge the offering by three basic elements.
Product features and quality
Services mix and quality
Price appropriateness
Too many companies think that it is the marketing or sales department’s job to procure customers. If they cannot, the company draws a conclusion that its marketing people aren’t very good. But, in fact, even the best marketing department cannot sell products that are poorly made or fail to meet anyone’s need. Thereby, the importance of an up to date made product, which suits the need of the customers and ensures a better and bright prospects for future is vital.
